An inviting space for Trude’s grocery in Clapham showcasing a glorious variety of produce.

Our brief was to create a bright and playful space that would allow Trude’s to sell and serve a large variety of produce and deli items. We carefully considered the plan layout ensuring easy customer flow and product storage and display.

Taking cues from the brand palette, we refreshed the existing brickwork with a soft pink Bauwerk limewash paint to brighten and soften the space whilst retaining the texture and character of the brick; we specified forest green zellige tiles for the back counter to provide texture and contrast. The coffee counter and display units were designed bespoke and are constructed from solid oak with a white oil finish to pare back the yellow tones in the wood.
