Design and styling for two compact apartments in Cardiff.

We were approached to develop a design scheme for two apartments above a cafe and bakery in Pontcanna, a vibrant suburb of Cardiff.

The client intended to use both apartments as luxury holiday rentals throughout the year so our brief was to provide a practical and cost effective design whilst also ensuring a unique and eye catching finish. To achieve this we combined second hand and high street items with a selection of crafted pieces from independent British suppliers to create a considered and eclectic scheme.

Each apartment was compact in size so we carefully considered the spatial layout of each space and collaborated with the architect at an early stage in the project to ensure a comfortable and user friendly experience.
